What kind of game is this?

A cozy tycoon game about running a roadside fruit stand. Each in-game day you buy crates from the morning wholesaler, set your prices, open the stand, and watch the day play out. Days take about a minute.

Where can I play it?

Fruit Hut is free on both stores. Get it on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, or on Google Play for Android.

Does it have ads or in-app purchases?

No ads, and no timers designed to pull you back. There is one optional purchase: a tip jar on the About screen, if you feel like leaving something. It buys nothing in the game, so the whole thing is yours either way. It's one honest game.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

Neither. There's no sign-in, and the game runs entirely offline. Your save lives on your device; deleting the app deletes it. There's no cloud sync, so your stand doesn't follow you between devices.

My fruit says "getting soft" or "past it". What does that mean?

Fruit ages a stage every day. Fresh fruit sells itself; softer fruit needs a markdown to move, and fruit that's past it is only good for the compost. Buying more than you can sell is the classic beginner lesson, and the game intends you to learn it the hard way at least once.

How do I unlock strawberries?

Bank $100 in lifetime earnings and the wholesaler starts offering strawberry crates. They're pricier, they turn faster than peaches, and they sell for more if you have the nerve to price them right.

Is there a tutorial?

Your first three days are spent helping at a buddy's stand, learning the morning market, pricing, and the till with a small float. After that you're on your own with your own stand. You can skip it if you'd rather learn by losing money.

Why can't I see my reputation as a number?

On purpose. The stand shows you everything it can know for certain: what you paid, your break-even, yesterday's sales. What the neighborhood thinks of you is something you feel in the size of the crowd, not a bar to fill. Watch who comes back.

I found a bug, or I have an idea.
